Kajak, Kanu, SUP, Boat

Explore the arctic polar circle region on water. Get inspired by the nature and the birds. Listen to the spashing of the oar.

Wilderness - Tour

Learn from the nature at the polar circle. On this tour we tell you the secrets of the flowers, leaves and forest. May we find some food steps of a reindeer, moose or bear.

Drive DReSsINE

Come and tread on Sweden's longest draisine railway. Old as young, the whole family. Experience nature up close, feel the scents of forest and land. Over bridges, past lakes and open fields where the cows graze. During the summer the reindeer roam freely, perhaps your first meeting will be on the move.

Aavasaksa - the imperior lodge

At the top is the oldest tourist building in Lapland from the 18th century, the Keisarinmaja. This is the name of the hunting cabin of the last russian emperior from 1882.

Bike - Tour

Rent a city- or mountainbike and enjoy a trip around Övertorneå or to the local mountain Luppio in the south. If you want, you can cross the border and visit finland.

Elch Park "Oskar, the Moose"

Kiss the moose. Oscar the moose is the real king of sweden. Impressiv big and cute at the same time. He lives here with other moose and you can visit him full year around.

Fishing

Pike, perch and grayling are the most common fish you can find here. On NORRSKEN LODGE you can fish directly at the river with 300m waterline.

Sami Kåsa

Make your own Kåsa. This traditonal wooden cup is made out of the best burch from the swedish arctic. Meet Mika and learn how to do it your own. Certificate included.

Church Särkilax and Övertorneå

1409 was written in a letter to the emperior, that there was a church found at the very north of europe. Särkilax has old story to tell.

Outdoor Cooking

Cook with us on open fire. Smoked reindeer meat tastes delicious. First we meet the local butcher and taste some of his tasty products. Later we need to buy the potatos, which are growing on the polar circle.

Golf

The longst drive! Tee off in Finland and your ball lands in Sweden. Over the time zone of one hour. Midnight-Golf or just excersice on the driving range.
