NORRSKEN LODGE have been part of the TV – Show Life on German TV. The stories were about travellers, who worked for their food and accommodation. The show compared three places in Europe. One of them was NORRSKEN LODGE at the polar circle. There is one magic moment, when the journalist stands on our porche and looked at the northern lights the first time. “this is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in my life”, she said, while a tear crawls over her left check. We think, we won the contest. 😊

After we started the contest of our new logo, we found over 250 different ideas in our inbox. We have chosen 3 of the best and made a survey on facebook. And the winner was clear and far away from all others. We love our new logo and it really shows exactly what NORRSKEN LODGE stands for. Fantastic time in the surrounding of beautiful Swedish Lapland. By the way… do you want to know, where the designer of the logo lives? Bangladesh! WHAT? Yes, he has never seen northern lights or snow. He does not know, for what reindeers are good and how a salmon taste. Can you imagine, what unbelievable great empathy he must have to dive into our story, our business and our guests need. What an outstanding performance!

From time to time we give radio interviews and focus on our home in Switzerland. Radio Central is one of the most listened radios and top 1 in the central part of Switzerland. We talk about midnight-sun, about winter and our guests. We had the exciting idea to start a contest at Christmas, were the audience can win a trip to NORRSKEN LODGE for one week for 4 persons, all included. We call the winner directly out of the radio studio on Christmas day and announce the good news of the win. Great emotions for all of us.
